The Benefit of Personal Mailing Analysis
Post-mailing analyses are a hallmark of the Jay Reardon Healthcare Direct Mail Program. There are a total of six different reports that are provided upon completion of your mailings. United will email you your post-mailing reports, and Jay will contact you shortly after to personally review and analyze the report results with you. That way, if you have any questions or concerns we can address them personally, promptly, and in detail. Summaries of the reports are located below. Click on any title for a larger version of the sample report.
Acquisition Net List Count Report (PDF)
This report verifies name counts for each list (house and rented), as well as identifies which list each name came from (by referencing the list ID number). The report indicates the total mail count for each mailing and combined total.
Zip Code / SCF Analysis (PDF)
This analysis compares, by zip code and list type, the total number of letters mailed, gifts received, percent response, total dollars, average gift amount and the yield per piece mailed. This report is used to identify productive and unproductive zip codes by list type.
House List Response Analysis (PDF)
The house list response analysis compares performance of each "House List" to one another.
ACQUISITION Performance-By-Institution Analysis (PDF)
This analysis allows program participants to compare results of their donor acquisition mailing with other participants. It promotes discussion of mailing results; what worked what didn’t work and why.
RENEWAL Performance-By-Institution Analysis (PDF)
This analysis allows program participants to compare results of their donor renew mailing with other participants. It, also, promotes discussion of mailing results; what worked what didn’t work and why.
Rented List Summary Analysis (PDF)
This analysis compares performance results of each "rented list" with all other rented lists. The analysis focuses on the number of households mailed, total response, percent response, total dollar amount, average gift amount, and yield per piece mailed. This analysis assists the program manager in determining which rented lists should continue to be used.
